Mr Amitabh Jain was Head of Health Underwriting and claims at ICICILOMBARD GIC Ltd and had announced his departure from the firm a few weeks back. It is now coming to news through industry sources that he will be joining Star Health.
With over 16 years of experience, Amitabh started his career in the home loan business function at ICICI group and has been an integral part since. He has juggled various roles in motor, bancassurance and has been instrumental in helping ICICI Lombard emerge as a market leader. An engineer by qualification, he has launched key initiatives in ICICILOMBARD such as InstaSpect (live video) survey in motor and AI based claim settlement in Health.
At Star Health it is being speculated that would be joining as a COO. He would report directly to Anand Roy, MD & CEO.Star Health & Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. is an Indian health insurance company based in Chennai. The company has been providing services in health, personal accident and overseas travel insurance.
